Paradise Garden Foundation Board of Directors and Host Committee are excited to announce the fifth
annual Atlanta Patron Saint Party, an evening of artful fun benefiting Howard Finster’s Paradise Garden
Foundation, on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 6 pm ET.
Eric Booth, managing director of the Jim Thompson Silk Company, founder of the award-winning
MAIIAM Contemporary Art Museum in Thailand, and cross-over collector of outsider and folk art, will
host this year’s Patron Saint Party in the historic 1922 Sibley House in Buckhead. This historic home was
designed by prominent early 20th-century architects Neel Reid and Philip Shutze, with interior design by
Paradise Garden board member and event Chair, Summer Loftin.
The evening will start with libations served in the historic 101-year-old garden, maintained by acclaimed
Alex Smith Garden Design Limited. Guests will enjoy an interactive culinary experience with Executive
Chef Chris Murphy while listening to live bluegrass music throughout the evening. Guests are also
welcome to participate in the Foundation’s silent auction, featuring one-of-a-kind folk and outsider art,
crafts, pottery, and more. This event is open to the public and perfect for all art appreciators, art
collectors, cultural leaders, and especially fans of Howard Finster.
Ticket registration is now live on Paradise Garden Foundation’s website. Ticket purchases are 100% tax
deductible and priced at $150. All proceeds from this year’s Patron Saint Party will benefit the ongoing
preservation and maintenance of Howard Finster’s Paradise Garden.
