The Unpracticed Play

Rome Shakespeare Festival is happy to announce a new play reading series! Each month, we will pick a new play to read as a group. When you sign up, you will have the ability to choose if you’d like to be a reader, or sit in the “audience.” If you choose to read, the only catch is that you won’t know which character you are reading for until you arrive! This keeps it spontaneous and fun for everyone. After we read, there will be a talk back to discuss the play. It’s like a book club, but better!

This month’s play is August: Osage County by Tracy Letts*. While you are more than welcome to purchase a copy for yourself, we will have copies for everyone participating.
