Description
As part of our mission to advocate, support, and empower survivors of domestic violence, Hospitality House for Women places great emphasis on awareness and prevention. Walk a Mile in Her Shoes is our annual event which takes place during Domestic Violence Awareness Month each October. At Walk a Mile, we invite community members to walk down Broad Street in women's shoes, shedding light on the fact that you can never understand a person's situation until you've walked in their shoes. We want our community to join forces against domestic violence; it is not just a “women’s issue,” it’s a human issue!
