About Us

Found in 2011, ARF (Animal Rescue Foundation of Rome- Floyd Co.) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the improvement of the local strays for the betterment of their lives and the people of our community. As we work in cooperation with Floyd County Animal Control, we strive to ensure the overall health and wellbeing of shelter animals. We promote low-cost and affordable spay/neuter/vaccination clinics, provide emergency vetting & transportation to “No Kill” shelters in outside areas, and place animals in foster care to eventually be adopted in forever homes. We are committed to giving animals a second chance at life for love, happiness, and prosperity with the help of our community.
