St. Mary's Catholic School

About Us

Founded in 1945 as the parish school of Saint Mary’s Catholic Church, Saint Mary’s Catholic School is a faith filled community committed to exemplary Christian living and superior academic instruction. Enrolling approximately 350 students in grades Pre-K through 8th, Saint Mary’s has been accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) since 1981 and currently serves northwest Georgian families of all faith denominations from over 30 local churches, both Protestant and Catholic. All teaching faculty are state certified, and more than half of the faculty and staff have earned Master’s Degrees or higher. The Saint Mary’s school motto reads “Our Courage shines as we live the Gospel, always seeking the Wisdom to understand God’s will as we Share the Love of God with all people.”
